Because it's literally the perfect material - and we've considered all of them. First of all, there's nothing cats love more than cardboard - this is known.

Nothing else has that delightfully smooth-rough texture and makes that heavenly scratchy sound when you claw at it. Nothing!! 

Our cardboard is reinforced and extra durable – meaning it has no problem holding up hefty cats (or even several) sitting or jumping on top of it! 

As a bonus, it makes the puzzles lightweight, enabling them to slide around - adding to the challenge and amusement.

Yes. Our cardboard is reinforced and extra-strong, and lasts a long time with most cats.

Will it wear out? Sure, eventually. How fast depends on the ferocity of your beast and how much they enjoy their Cat Amazing. Ultimately, the faster it wears out, the more your cat played with it - and isn't that the whole point? 

Put another way, would you rather a have pristine plastic gizmo that your cat played with once, or a battle-worn Cat Amazing that’s been loved to death? Not sure? Ask your cat!

Did you even read the card with the Cat Amazing? Bet not. And we put so much effort into it!

Ok, first of all - make sure you’re using treats. That’s key - some cats will play with toys inside, but many can’t be bothered unless something tasty is at stake. 

Also, make sure they see and hear you put the treats inside - ideally some time after their most recent meal.

It’s ideal if your cat doesn’t think that Cat Amazing is a toy is for them. This is just an impenetrable safe where you store your most pungent and delicious treats so that no one - ESPECIALLY NOT CATS - can get to them. It’s very important that this is clearly conveyed.

You can also put a tiny pinch of catnip inside (don’t rub it on the outside, as that will result in cardboard being chewed). Or rub it on their favorite small toy and put that inside - works also. Nothin' like a coating of meth, amiritie?!

Finally, there’s a small percentage of cats that just don’t take to Cat Amazing - if yours is one of them, congrats you’ve raised a completely lazy and spoiled ingrate. As a reward, return it (the Cat Amazing, not the cat) and we’ll give you a 100% refund. That’s right - not 100% satisfied, we’ll refund you - no questions asked. Spoiled, like cat like owner.

First of all, if you are considering declawing - please don't.

If you've adopted a cat that's already been declawed - kudos to you for giving love and attention to this unfortunate kitty. As far as our puzzles go, we hear a mix of feedback on declawed cats using the toy – some folks say theirs love it, others say they can't do it. It seems to depend on the cats. Either way, if your kitty doesn't take to it we have a 100% Delight Guarantee!
